FINALS RESULTS.

 

Here are the results of our recent final series.

 

Newlands had a total 33 teams in the competition last season

6 or 18% of the teams were under 8 & 10's and did not have finals

27 or 82% of those teams were eligible for finals

15 or 56% of those teams qualified for the Grand Final.

8 or 56% of those teams won their Grand Finals.

 

These results are very good when you consider that we have multiple teams that play against each other and eliminated each other from their finals.

 

 While the above results show the strength of our players, coaches, team managers and supporters, I continue to measure our success on the number of players we have representing our club not the game results.

Exciting news for under 8 players

The CBA has agreed to commence an under 8 girls competition in Winter 2018 season.
The season will commence with an under 8 girls and mixed competition the first season then progress into a under 8 boys and girls competition the season after.

We now have this season to prepare and grow our under 8 players so that we will be able to enter separate teams in the first season.

This is a huge win for the competition as eventually our girls will not have to play against boys.

You can assist by starting to recruit 6 year old players.
