Condensation
Roofing Update
Dear
Patrons,
Thank
you all for your feedback and concerns regarding the issue with the
condensation at the Coburg Basketball Stadium.
Sports
Stadiums Victoria have engaged the services of Roofrite to conduct the
following:
REPLACE THE FIBREGLASS SHEETING

Remove
existing fibreglass roof sheets.

Supply
and install 26x 13m 0.48 zinculume Trimclad iron roof sheets, to be laid over
50mm Anticon insulation blanket.
EQUIPMENT HIRE – CRANE
-
Crane
hire required to meet Worksafe OH&S safe work requirements for safe lifting
of materials onto ROOF
EQUIPMENT HIRE - GUARDRAIL
Supply
and install guardrail to meet Worksafe OH&S safe work access requirements.
RUBBISH REMOVAL
Correctly
dispose of the old fibreglass sheets.
Sports
Stadiums Victoria has paid a deposit for the works to be completed and is
currently in talks with Roofrite as to how to logistically coordinate these
works with as little disruption as possible to stadium operations.
A
confirmed date will hopefully be finalised next week with works most likely
commencing early September.
Up
until installation date the condensation policy implemented some two weeks ago
will be utilised if required.
Thank
you for your patience regarding this matter and with these works being completed
over the next month or so we should not have any issues with the condensation
moving forward.
